Essentrics® with Marcia
Essentrics® Fitness is a low-impact, full-body movement practice that helps you move with less strain, supporting physical health while improving emotional regulation and confidence. Classes focus on controlled, intentional movement to strengthen and lengthen muscles, support joint health, and calm the nervous system. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Developed in 1995 by Miranda Esmonde-White, a Health Instructor and former dancer, and popularized through the long-running PBS program Classical Stretch, Essentrics® combines techniques from dance, tai chi, yoga, and physical therapy to create a dynamic stretching and strengthening workout focused on mobility, posture, and overall well-being.
